President's Corner
Rebecca H. Chatfield, Ph.D.

April is Volunteer Month for Equestrians' Institute. Volunteering is a clever way to get 1) experiential education at equestrian events 2) social networking done the old-fashioned way and 3) fun that also boosts your cosmic 'good karma' rating. Also you get free stuff! . . . Our Director of Volunteers, Colleen Jones, works very hard to make sure that you are matched up with appropriate tasks, receive timely updates, and get friendly care & direction when you bring your warm body to us..  . . .

About E.I.
Equestrians' Institute is a not-for-profit volunteer organization formed in 1974 to support the interests of equestrians in the Puget Sound and surrounding region. E.I. provides educational and competitive opportunities through its sponsorship of clinics (local or national experts), schooling shows and recognized competitions in eventing, dressage and combined driving. Membership in E.I. affords each person the opportunity to volunteer or participate in events in their area of interest or to expand their experience through association with the other disciplines. Camaraderie, support, competition and skill development are encouraged through the E.I. network.
